Ryan & Stefanie Wainwright
Blended Compass Marine Services is a family owned and operated business in Yorktown, Virginia.
Ryan calls Tappahannock home, but went to high school in Stafford County. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Ryan’s love for boats began as a child. One of his favorite memories is walking around the docks and boatyards just to look at the different boats and their names, shapes, and sizes. He still enjoys doing this today, too! Ryan has owned the boat he grew up on for the past 18 years and another commercial passenger vessel for the past 16 years. Additionally, he has worked as a marina manager and a boat repair technician for the past 7 years.
Ryan is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain and has a broad understanding of boats and their systems. He can operate commercial vessels no greater than 100 gross tons in inland waters. Ryan has two children, Gary and Isla. He admits he may not know everything, but if he doesn’t know or can’t resolve the problem, he knows and will recommend a company who can do what is needed. He can even help manage that process if requested.
Stefanie was raised in Poquoson and graduated from Poquoson High School in 2003. She has two children as well, Kylie and Liam. She graduated from University of Phoenix in 2020 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business specializing in Marketing.
When we are all together there is never a dull moment and we enjoy every minute of family time. We love boating, fishing, and crabbing - really, anything water related! We, especially Ryan, are very passionate about boats and being out on the water.
